It was initially leaked out, apparently by someone's PVP. Supposedly it will roll out sometime in June.... I don't think anyone has received anything "official" & in writing from Carnival yet.

I wonder if they are mailing out the Diamond luggage tags before the roll out, then we would know if we are being grandfathered in.

So if you are Diamond, you only get the three "one-time" perks one time as a Diamond member?? :confused:

Yep a few 1 time items, Sort of sucks don't it, we get to see the Capt and luggage tags for being Diamond after our first diamond cruise, did hear they will keep milestone don't know why we will never hit 50 cruises. That deal was not to great either, you pay more for a cabin so they can give your money back to you as OBC. Sort of they way they are going with Diamond.

Wow, if this is the Carnival "We Appreciate Your Business" program, then I guess they dont appreciate our business very much!

 

Its hard to belive that you have to have more than 74 days cruising to get anything more that an email, a free drink, a past guess party and a ONE Time Pin!

 

Any chance they might rethink this?

I don't see where any of this is such a big deal :rolleyes:. If I want to cruise and there was another ship out of N.O., then I would cruise on that one. I wouldn't keep going on the same ship just to get a couple of free drinks, clothes washed etc. Been to Vegas quite a lot. Stayed at Paris 3 times because of perks, but after that I wanted to try new places. So we went to Bellagio a couple of times and then again, moved on to others. Hope I don't get flamed for my reply, but I am cruising Carnival because I don't like the thought of flying to a port, not for these small perks.

not that is matters much - I agree that these perks will not make me choose carnival over any other line. other things may, but not this program.

It's a 1 stop list..I am barely gold, but it's nice to see where I'm going.

Honestly, the only important things to me right now are priority embark and disembark. If we book suites, we get those.
