We got caught!

Recommended Posts

Sill trying to get that posts-per-day up are you?? They closed you last night but still feel it necessary to ramble on...

Precious.

78 posts in 3 years. Up to what, 0.07 per day now? Awesome...

And btw, why read my posts and complain if you have no interest in what I have to say. You just look sillier commenting on such.

Sorry you missed post #141. Oh well...

Again, sorry if times are tough for you, that's still no reason to smuggle and steal and dump on others that believe in following rules. Perhaps it was just the way you were brought up. What can we do to help and educate you to do the right things in life??

You're right they closed me??? White flag, I surrender. lol I work and can't keep follow your every moment of ranting.

I'm only posting to keep this thread alive and bump it up to the top!:D Anyway, I don't smuggle...it seems like its too much trouble for little gain. I don't really care about the arguments about contracts, etc. Who really reads those things?

I've always felt that people who feel a need to smuggle are the ones who can least afford to cruise. No reason to be ashamed...it is what it is. Trying to justify it with silly arguments (the drinks are watered down, they don't carry my brand, they're too expensive, blah, blah, blah) are just that...justifications.

I'm sure there will be people who post that they reserve suites, they're VIPs with hundreds of cruises under their belts, etc. Just more white noise.

So, the bottom line...if you smuggle don't advertise it and brag about it. All it does is prove you really can't afford to cruise. Why point that out to the world?

Please be so kind and explain how that you could know who can or cannot afford to cruise when dealing with perfect strangers?

The above quote from you in red only states that you yourself have no class by making such a statement.

Just because someone takes a little bit of their drink onto a ship and in your eyes they can't afford to cruise is just ridiclous.

What do you think about the Casino Whales that come into town in Vegas every week, have casino jets fly them into town, casion limos pick them up at the airports, have their meals and suites comped and at the end of their stay they walk out the hotel with stolen bath towels, yes it happens all the time.

In your eyes I guess they really can't afford to gamble either.

People like you make no sense at all in the statements you make.

Do you every listen to yourself talk or read what you type?

My four cans of beer and total of 500ml of rum made it onboard fine. I only drank about 60ml of my rum so I had to smuggle it back off of the ship. I did buy a bucket of beer so my bar tab ended up being just under $25. How do I calculate my total theft of Carnival funds?

hmmm smuggling is justified because you don't approve of the "exhorbitant"cost of booze - how do you act in an upscale restaurant, where the price of booze is every bit as high, if not higher than on a cruise ship? What about an airport bar? What about a high priced hotel room - is it justified to sneak in for the night?

This is about the stupidist comparisions I have ever heard of.

When was the last time you or anybody you know ever stayed in a restaurant or an airport bar for 3-4-5-6-7 days or longer?

If your on a ship it's not like you can have the captain to pull over at the next liquor store and let you run in and pick up something to drink, I mean dude let's get real here ok!

If I'm staying at a hotel somewhere and I want to have a few drinks and don't feel like going out to a bar, I will go to a store that is close by and get what I want and bring it back to the hotel.

In all my years of travel I have never heard of anyone having to smuggle or sneak anything to drink in their room high priced or not, and I've stayed in Intercontanital hotels @ 340.00 a night down to Sleep Inns @ 29.00 a night.

If you are gonna compare something to something else it always helps to use things that are along the same lines, that way you can at least argue your point, but you are way off base in your line of thinking.

So out of curiosity I forced myself to actually walk into one of those Walmart places the other day looking for those RumRunner/Catheter bags that so many of you speak so highly about. Just wanted to amuse myself and see what the inside of one of those stores looks like while I checked out the smuggler's favorite tools.

OMG, what they say is so true - People of Walmart???? But that is not the issue here.

So I asked around for the RumRunner/Catheter bags and finally received some help and she says, "you sure don't look like a Carnival cruiser." Truth!! Honest!!

She said they do not have any RumRunners and offered some ziplock bags and then she offered to show me her catheter bag, on her LEG!!! Truth!! Honest!! On that note I said I was double-parked and had to go, OMG...

So I must ask, what does a Carnival cruiser look like???

You must look like one of the many as you are on the Carnival board, so I asume that you have taken or thinking of taking a Carnival cruise.

I am taking my second cruise this July (first one 10 years ago), it will be my partners first. I read a lot of posts about this subject trying to decide the best thing to do about the drinking issue. We decided to call the Bov Voyage dept. and have 4 bottles of liquor in our room when we board. No need to worry about the naughty room, leakage, or the feeling of guilt about breaking the rules. Yes we paid a bit more for the bottles, but, to me it's worth it not having to worry about being caught.

I know which cabin I'll be in......:p:p:p

O PLEASE, not the stealing from shareholders / company smoke screen theory again. If the shareholders are worried about people cutting into the booze profit than ban all the friend's of Bill W and all the under 21 crowd from the cruise lines as THEY DONT BUY BOOZE and are costing the shareholders / company and ton of money more than the smugglers are.

LOL right on! couldnt have said it better!~:D

Correct.

No not can't, the word is won't. As most cruisers FOLLOW the rules there coach...

Man, you need to read the previous posts and "get with the program" there coach.

I also thought "coaches" are the ones to lead by example?

Get with the program, lol.......

What does coaching and drinking booze that I paid for have to do with example?

Obviously you don't seem to read what you type. Read the rant you put out and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Anyway, yes, if someone steals towels from a casino hotel room then they probably shouldn't be gambling or they just have a childish rush of excitement when they get away with it...much like booze smugglers.

I seem to have hit a hot button of yours and now you're having a bit of a tantrum. Take a chill pill...don't throw anything at your monitor.

As a shareholder you are dead to me unless you carry my rum runners! Sure never touch them far to lazy to walk back to the cabin but it's the adventure and the locked up abroad rush! Plus one day just might have a wild sex party for 12 on my balcony at 3 am?

Yea and we will all be smoking too! Kidding back to life....back to reality.......need to bathe grandpa.....kidding....

Just another stupid meaningless reply, and a response that I would expect from a poster such as yourself which you refused to answer my question about how you could posably know the money situation of a complete stranger.

What rant are you talking about? There is no rant in the post I made.

Why don't you and your little complaing non smuggling buddies go and play in the sandbox and let the adults have a conversation about something that is of intrest to them.

Actually, it has nothing to do with drinking booze you paid for. It has to do with on the field, you are supposed to teaching kids (or adults, I don't know who you coach) to play the game according to the rules, to not cheat, to play fair. And you probably do a fine job of that but then you throw all that out the window when you board a cruise ship by trying to smuggle something on board and you know it is in violation of the contract (aka against the rules). I'ts a Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde sort of thing. Of course, the alternative is you could be one of those coaches who screams at the players, teach them to throw elbows or trip opponents, and skirt the rules whenever possible. Who knows? I do believe this was the line of thinking the previous poster was implying.

The last line of your quote says it all. These threads are supposed to be educational and entertaining, without all the crappy opinions. Some of them are really funny, although I don't think the posters were trying to be :D.
