Soda Maker

Recommended Posts

I had a thought today while watching a commercial. Would you be able to bring one of those soda makers with you. I don't think they are very big so they would not be hard to pack. 1 bottle is 16.9 oz and it makes about 12 litres of soda.

Yes I understand that it would not be cheaper for just 1 cruise. But I am thinking multiple cruises for multiple people might make it really worth it.

Just wondering what others thought of this.

I don't think so because you can't bring on any type of compressed gas other than oxygen, and I would bet you would need a prescription for that to be allowed. Below is from Carnival FAQs.

Prohibited Items – will be disposed of prior to boarding

• Large coolers

• Alcohol in unsealed containers

• Taser or electronic stun guns

• Pepper or mace sprays

• Telescopic or regular batons

• Martial arts equipment (Including., flails, throwing stars, belt buckle knives, etc.)

• Handcuffs, brass knuckles

Compressed gas bottles/cylinders which would make the CO2 cartridge a no go.
