Merriem Posted June 1, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2012 We know it is chilly outside, but I am packing to leave tomorrow, and wondered if anyone knew if the Century is not too hot inside. Not a silly question........thanks.
Tweedy Posted June 1, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 1, 2012 We know it is chilly outside, but I am packing to leave tomorrow, and wondered if anyone knew if the Century is not too hot inside. Not a silly question........thanks. No it's not a silly question. :D Some areas of the ship were warm, other areas the a/c worked quite well (like the theatre). We always kept our room a/c on the lowest setting and would notice the difference from the hallway to the room but it definitely wasn't freezing in our room. We did over hear others mention how warm the ship was so we knew it wasn't just us.

Phxazzcruisers Posted June 1, 2012 #4 Share Posted June 1, 2012 Most of the enclosed spaces on the ship should be pretty comfortable. When you get to areas that are constantly open to the outside it does get pretty cold. Layers seem to work best for us on Alaska cruises. It seems to go from cold to warm and back pretty fast and it is easier to add or remove layers. Enjoy your cruise

jkspringtexas Posted June 1, 2012 #6 Share Posted June 1, 2012 Layers worked very well for our Alaska cruise. Easy for packing mix and match outfits.
