Info on Upsales

We will be sailing on the Regetta in July. We were first offered an upsale from a PH 3 to the OS for $2000 more pp. We told our travel agent, hold out until they lower the price. Received an email from my TA on Monday.. Price was lowered to $1000 pp. We decided to go for it! After breaking both of my legs ( femurs) last year...looking forward to a wonderful 30th Anniversary!

You deserve it! I fractured my knee back in March. I can't imagine having 2 broken legs. Happy Anniversary--only one month to go!:)

Sounds like a great deal. We paid $1K to move from a PH to OS on Regatta in Nov 2005 and prices were a LOT lower than in general. It was worth it for us for similar reasons -- I'd blown my knee out the day before so I needed that extra space for my wheel chair. (I think I said this earlier in this thread so I apologize for the repetition.) I didn't know that when we accepted the deal.
