Hotel recommendations for LA port

sailing out of Long beach and flying out of LGB.

Will need a shuttle to hotel and also to airport next day.

 

Any recommendations for your favorite pre/ post cruise hotel?

The Queen Mary. It's within walking distance.

The Queen Mary is a good suggestion. Many like the Maya.

 

Both the QM and the Maya are on the free Passport C shuttle bus route. This bus goes to the Aquarium, restaurant row and Walmart.

The Maya is also within (long) walking distance of the Dome.

 

To get to/from the airport either arrange a shuttle service or take a taxi.

the queen mary for sure. Watched the ship sail in early in the morning. It was quite an experience staying on the queen mary. We stayed in a cabin that Lucille Ball had stayed in. It was one of the highlights of our entire vacation. We also took the ferry over to Catalina Island the day before our cruise. I would recommend that too.
