Lotus Girl Posted June 3, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2012 Hello Has anyone taken the RCCL flights (with whichever airline they fly you with) on the Saturday of the sailing? If so, how long did you have to wait to be transferred to the port following getting your luggage etc? I'm curious to see how long it will take from landing (we land at 11.00 am) to getting to the ship and getting onboard. Karen
troutfisherman Posted June 7, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2012 Have never booked flights with RCCL always book them ourselves. We are cruising from Venice on Splendour at the end of July and have booked easyjet the day before departure from Gatwick. RCCL flights can be rather expensive but you do have the added security that if anything goes wrong you'll get refunded. You pay your money and take your choice ;)

Generally we like to fly in a day earlier and see the place however having been in Venice twice last year, it doesn't have the same draw to get there a day earlier this year. We'll see how it all goes in 8 days time :D
scottishwee35 Posted July 4, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 4, 2012 Hi we are thinking to go Greece next year with this cruise however I found Jet2, flight from Edinburgh to Venice and have return too. Can you check it? Scottishwee35
