SE NC Posted June 4, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2012 Since taking early retirement a couple of years ago, (didn't really want to but sales management position was eliminated after almost 30 years of faithful service!), the bride and I have booked ocean view cabins on our 3 cruises since retirement to save $$$. Man do I miss balconies but what the hay as we are still crusing! Just book a cruise on the Dream. Booked an interior cabin with a somewhat blocked ocean view window. It's cabin 10206 on the lido deck at the very front of the deck. Can anyone share how obstructured the view is and how easy it is to get to outside deck and overview thoughts of the cabin etc.. Thanks in advance! :D

Thanks in advance! :D You will be able to see the ocean if you are standing up. There is a railing on the other side of the walkway outside of your cabin that will obstruct your view if you are sitting down. To get to that area, instead of walking down the hallway, turn to your left or right and there is a door with a window in it. Go through that door, then there is another door about four feet further. Go through that door and you are outside on that deck. If the ship is underway, there is a terrific blast of air when you open that second door so hang on to the door.
