SW airlines open future flights to 1/4/13

This is just an FYI for those of you sailing late this year or early in 2013. SW has stated for weeks, that they would not open furture flights until June 21st, but they jumped the gun.

I normally go to NC for Thanksgiving and in a fluke checked both Air Tran and SW, both of which are now taking reservations through 1/4/13. The flight each way from Ohio to NC was $438 one way, good grief. But last night I checked the flight down on Thanksgiving day was down to $136, more like it! I booked that and will continue to watch for a returning flight.

It is a pain in the arse, but you just got to keep watching daily! Take care, Lydia of Ohio
