How often Bus pickups at Horseshoe Bay Beach on Summer SUndays

If we go by bus in the morning, I'm a bit worried I won't have a bus get me back to the wharf for our 1 pm snorkel tour. How often do they run? And do the busses drop you off at the very highest point above the beach?

The route #7 bus which serves Horseshoe Bay departs Hamilton every 30 minutes on the :00 & :30; there may be some unscheduled special buses running the Dockyard <> HSB route also.

The bus stops are at the highest points above the beach but there is a van that charges $2.00 pp to carry you up to the bus route or down to the beach.

Here is something to consider, the first scheduled bus departs the Dockyard at 10:50am and then every 30 minutes thereafter. Everybody on your cruise ship who wants to go to HSB will be waiting for that bus. To catch the bus back to the Dockyard to arrive there by 1:00pm, you would have to be at the bus stop by, at the latest, 12:20pm. IMHO, you won't be having much quality time at HSB. Travel time Dockyard <> HSB would be about 30 minutes on Sunday.

You may want to consider a taxi for both trips; or hope for many unscheduled special buses

Man, this cruise schedule with one night, one morning and one full day in the middle does make it hard to relax about seeing everything you want. Oh well, we'll do the snorkel the last morning, we just know that Horseshoe Bay is not negotiable this time around. Thanks for the detailed bus info!!
