student again Posted June 14, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2012 Does anyone know where we can Park and Sail outta Long Beach? Looking at a hotel this month to save on parking at the pier. Can be anywhere close to Long Beach also.
Rosefloater Posted June 14, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2012 Check out the Hotel Maya which is about 1 mile away and the Queen Mary. Check out the West Coast Board. There are many threads on this and look for a promo code for the Maya (but there might not be any rooms available for the code - it sells out fast). jasbo49 Posted June 25, 2012 #4 Share Posted June 25, 2012 There's also the Golden Sails Inn, a Best Western. Can't seem to get that link on their website to work, but someone said it's $150 to stay, eat breakfast and park with shuttle or taxi. BTW, Rosefloater said there are "many threads on this" on something called "the West Coast Board." The only thing I see that's close to that is a California Coastal/Pacific Northwest forum. This has about 7 threads in total, nothing close to this topic. Anybody know of another "West Coast Board" that has something of interest? kaylahszoo Posted June 29, 2012 #7 Share Posted June 29, 2012 The Carnival Corporate code is 0560018220 Rates start at $139 depending on room. We are using it for tomorrow night. We actually book a waterview balcony, so our was $169 subtotal. The Passporter (free LB bus system picks you up at the hotel and in 5 minutes you will be across the bridge to Aquarium etc) It is a 10 minute walk to the ship or a 2 minute shuttle drive. it's5o'clocksomewhere Posted July 1, 2012 #10 Share Posted July 1, 2012 There is a Marriott residence inn near the cruise terminal. I am not sure if they offer a stay and sail package, but it is close by.
deborahjo Posted July 15, 2012 #11 Share Posted July 15, 2012 Are you sailing on Carnival or Princess. Two different docks. Carnival goes out of Long Beach and San Pedro does all other lines. Queen Mary and Hotel Maya are the closest to Carnival. Cannot tell you about San Pedro.
