Crown Princess from NYC in 2006

Hi Everyone,

 

Red Hook is in Brooklyn, south of the Brooklyn Bridge, facing Manhattan.

 

Although it was considered a "bad area" in the past, Mayor Bloomberg is pouring millions of dollars into gentrifying the area and building a state-of-the-art port terminal. The New York Times recently ran an article describing this area's upscale renewal, and stated that the Queen Mary and the Crown Princess will be the two large luxury liners inaugurating the usage of this new port in June 2006.

 

I think I recall the article stating that there will be parking and other passenger friendly amenities incorporated into this port.
