maryann ns Posted June 18, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2012 There is a new business in Halifax giving food tasting tours. You can read about it at the sites below. It starts at the Seaport Farmers Market which is very close to where cruise ships dock. http://localtastingtours.com/ http://www.tripadvisor.ca/ShowTopic-g154976-i327-k5439935-Food_Tasting_tour-Halifax_Halifax_Regional_Municipality_Nova_Scotia.html

Novastar Posted June 19, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 19, 2012 Yes, thank you Maryann. You have the most helpful posts. Problem is, now I want to include this is my already full day in NS. What a dilemma!!
kneadsdough2cruise Posted July 12, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2012 What a great sounding tour! We would love to do this but they stop for the season on October 13th......our ship pulls in on the 17th! I did send a note through the web contact to ask if the end date is firm.......we hope not. Love food walking tours in new towns. Highly recommend Boston North End Culinary Walking Tour if you find yourself in the area.....excellent time. Thank you so much for this link and I hope it works out!
