SarahGT Posted June 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2012 We (family of 3 - one is a toddler) would like to visit the Cloisters when we're in Nassau next week (on the Allure). What is the best way to get there? Take a cab to the Ocean Club (isn't that the resort that has the Cloisters on its grounds?) or is there public transport that would get us there? It looks a little far to walk while pushing a stroller. Thanks so much.

The Cloisters and Versaille Gardens are on Ocean Club property. The Gardens are on the south side of the street and open to the public, The cloisters are actually on the ocean club property and NOT open to the public. There are a few statues near the entrance that you can see, but the guards will not allow you to wander around the rest of the gardens and walkways at Ocean Club.. They are for guests only. What you can see is worth the effort.
