Linda Lee Posted May 6, 2004 #27 Share Posted May 6, 2004 Nealberk has me worried. I adjusted my busboy's tip for the time my knife was set on the table with the blade facing outward. Was that wrong?
Sheffie Posted May 6, 2004 #28 Share Posted May 6, 2004 Duck, if you smoke, just remember that you can smoke ANYWHERE you want to, including the dining room and the theatre. If anyone complains, you can blow smoke in their face. It is allowed.

Now, putting the knife into the busboy for that mistake, that would have been wrong. Rustynail Posted May 6, 2004 #31 Share Posted May 6, 2004 If Newt had his way us Canadians would have to bunk down with the staff in the sub-basement of the ship! Duck, some folks have 20 cruises under their belts and know virtually nothing, you my friend have none to date but are a wealth of knowledge. Keep up the good work! Princess Poshpaws Posted May 7, 2004 #32 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Duck,2 cruises cancelled.....blackout.....baby. Any connection? You can go ahead now and book a cruise, wait until Baby Duck is 3 weeks old, then book on Crystal or Silversea, word is that on their ships you don't have to worry about diapers ,babies under 6 months don't have to wear them in the spa, whirlpools or adult pools. With the money saved you can hire a highchair so that Baby Duck can join you at the Captains Table. Paws

prettybeth Posted May 7, 2004 #35 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Don (or was it Renée who asked me the question), you can come with me, I guess Duck is out of luck! (like my rhyme?). One thing though, you tell him, I heard that he has a gun!
wvufan Posted May 7, 2004 #36 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Wow, some of you folks are really cheap on the tipping! The only variation on the recommended tipping schedule that I do is I prepare and present the envelopes on Tuesdays so that I can apply my "over 55" 5% discount. NotADude Posted May 8, 2004 #37 Share Posted May 8, 2004 On my next cruise, I am traveling with my 2 children (ages 13 and 14) ... I feel paying an extra $10. a day for EACH of them is a bit steep. How is half of that and a little extra in an envelope at the end of the cruise? - Terry Double Occupancy stinks for Singles!!! > 07/20/03 RCI Nordic Empress 10/19/03 Norwegian Sea 02/03/04 Carnival Spirit 07/10/04 Celebrity Horizon 07/10/04 Celebrity Horizon
