Majesty of the seas....Need questions answered....

Recommended Posts

I all...we are leaving on the 16th of May for Majesty of the seas, I just started looking through my booklet thru them and noticed we have late dinner, and I know we booked early, is it to late to request early?, also if you eat at the windjammer for dinner , do they wait on you or is it a buffet???

And if you do not get off in Nassau, is everything like the pool , reataurants etc., still opened??

What time are the shows?

Thanks all

Dear Whirlwind:

We were on the Navigator in March but I think the answers are the same anyway...

I saw people waiting in the dining room on the afternoon we boarded to make changes - so probably worth a try.

Windjammer is buffet.

The show times - if you have late seating is 7:30 if I remember correctly (before dinner) and if you have the early seating the shows are at 9pm and end around 10 pm in time to pick up kids without any extra fees.

When the ship was at a port, the pools were open.

The shops on the promenade were not. I don't remember what restaurants were open, but I know one day we did return to the ship around 1pm because our little ones were getting tired and we brought them to our room, called room service for lunch, and changed them. They were re-energized and wanted to go to the air conditioned kids club and we went back into town and did some shopping:).

Hope that helps! Have a great time!

Call your TA regarding your dinner seating ASAP.

Windjammer is a self service buffet, and yes, everything is open while the ship is in port except the Casino and onboard shops.

There are 2 showtimes, one for each dinner seating so as they don't conflict with dinner, but I don't remember the times off the top of my head.

The first show is at 7:15 PM (for second dinner seating)...second show (for early dinner) is at 9 PM...we have been on the Majesty several times and always head for the Maytime dining room at 2 PM sharp (to avoid the crowds) and make the necessary dining changes...just about everything is open when in port (dining rooms, Windjammer, etc.)...hope this helps a bit
