Sparkygirl Posted June 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2012 DD will be 20 months old when we go to Nassau. I've booked a room at the CS keeping fingers crossed for early check in so little one has a place to nap. How receptive are taxi drivers to us bringing and installing her car seat? Will 4 adults and a toddler fit in one taxi? What's the best way to get from point a to b?
lcPSU37 Posted June 26, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2012 Most of the taxis are small vans with third-row seating. The taxi drivers usually try to fit 6-8 people in taxi and space is a little tight. I'm not sure how receptive they will be to having a car seat take up precious space. But, we have always had really nice taxi drivers on our trips and possibly if you offer to pay them a little more for the extra space, they will not mind. The taxi fairs are usually about $4 per person, which I think is pretty reasonable since that is the way they make their living. So hopefully offering a few extra dollars would help. Good luck!
