develizweb Posted July 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2012 We are looking at either the Carnival Liberty or the Navigator of the Seas...which kid's club is better and which ship overall is better for kids... We have a 5 & 8 year old and have been on Disney Wonder 2 times and have done Carnival and Royal Caribbean without kids. Thanks for advice :)
crusinmama06 Posted July 13, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 13, 2012 I was holding off on responding to this but since no one else answered ;) I haven't done CCL Liberty but have done 3 other CCL ships. With that being said - we keep going back to the RCI ships. Adventure Ocean has been wonderful and ABOVE that - the ENTIRE crew from the servers to the cabin attendants have always gone out of their way to treat my girls like they are the only kids on the ship (even though there may be 500 more) We JUST on the spur of the moment decided to jump on another RCI cruise in 3 weeks while we are waiting to do Epic. So we will see if the trend continues ;) So if the prices were the same and the itinerary was the same - I would choose Navigator. And on a side note - the RCI Solarium is heaven! :) Nothing can touch that. When the girls go to the club - mom goes to the Solarium.
develizweb Posted July 16, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted July 16, 2012 Thanks for your advice...we are leaning towards Western Caribbean on Freedom of the Seas...way more $ than Carnival but sounds like it will be more comparable to what we are used to from sailing with Disney. Plus I am Emerald with RCI so the perks are always nice.
sharktums Posted July 16, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 16, 2012 We have a five year old who has participated in both Camp Carnival and the Adventure Ocean program, she much prefers Adventure Ocean on Royal.
