flcruiser3 Posted July 11, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2012 Does anyone know if the Viking Museum and Moesgaard History Museums in Aarhus are the same place? If they are different does anyone recommend one more than the other? We will be in Aarhus sailing on the Emerald from noon until 7:00pm. I would like to visit one museum (we will be there on a Monday so Aros is closed), go to Den Gamle and walk through stoget. Can anyone who has done a similar day recommend the best order to see these sights? Thanks, I have had a hard time finding information about this port. Alaskanb Posted July 11, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 11, 2012 From my research: They are different places--the Viking Museum is at the bottom level of a bank. There is a viking section at the Moesgaard History Museum. http://www.visitaarhus.com/international/en-gb/menu/turist/om-aarhus/sevaerdigheder/attractions/moesgaard-museum/produktside.htm?wbc_purpose=Basic?id=9656&CallerUrl=/international/en-gb/menu/turist/om-aarhus/sevaerdigheder/attractions/moesgaard-museum/museer.htm http://www.visitaarhus.com/international/en-gb/menu/turist/om-aarhus/sevaerdigheder/attractions/museer/produktside/gdk008088/the-viking-museum.htm?CallerUrl=
