Beach with calm water

While on a cruise in 2009, we visited Accra Beach and loved it. It's an absolutely gorgeous beach.

We will be visiting Barbados on a future cruise, and I was wondering if anyone can recommend an equally gorgeous beach with a calmer surf?

Any of the west coast beaches will be fine.

 

If you're looking for something close to port, I'd recommend Carlisle Bay. It's beautiful and the water is generally very calm.
