Lulu51 Posted July 30, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2012 I am traveling to Halifax with my 3 year old and I want to take her to the Museum of Natural History. Do the taxis at the pier have car seats? To answer your question and my curiosity I just called the 2 largest Taxi Companies in Halifax and the answer is no. Apparently there are many different sizes they did try a few but either child too small or too big etc. Although it is the law in Nova Scotia it is actually the responsibility of the legal guardian which in your case parent to provide. The other possibility is the your cruise ship may supply, apparently alot come off the ships carrying car seats?? The other alternative if you were here for a few days is to rent? Hope you can arrange something so you both can visit Museum
cjcruises Posted August 9, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 9, 2012 Metro Transit (bus) might be an option as well. http://www.halifax.ca/metrotransit/Schedules/index.asp
