Diving in Nassau

Recommended Posts

We will be on the Sky in Sept. and DH, a certified diver, cannot find a shop that will work with his 8am arrival in Nassau - the cruise ship dropped their certified dives (only a beginner, all comers, dive is available) and he has had no luck with Carribbean Divers, Stuart Cove, and Majestic.

Any suggestions?

We were on the Norwegian Jewel in February; I went with Stuart Cove's. If you are in Nassau long enough he can manage the 2-tank afternoon dive with them since NCL also uses them for the snorkeling tours (or at least used them in Feb.). On the way back we were sitting in the same bus as the snorkelers.....I would have preferred the morning dive but that didn't work out; the afternoon was also ok.

Thanks Susanne - but Stuart Coves in a no go. They leave to early for a morning dive and come back to late for an afternoon dive. Any other suggestions out there?

Check out scubaboard.com They'll be able to recommend an operator there.
