Bringing wine from Victoria, BC?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am going to be spending a few hours in Victoria on my Alaska cruise and I am hoping to bring back some ice/late harvest wine with me. My question is does anyone know how much I'm allowed to bring back and if I go over that limit about how long it takes if I declare it? Also, where's the best place to buy some? Thanks in advance for your help!

Liquor Store at Fort and Foul Bay next to Safeway. They have a specialty area and the vendor is an expert on wines. Ask him about ice wines.

Also there is a little wine store a block south of Starbucks in the Cook Street Villiage.

Their are wineries in the Saanich Peninusula and Cowichan area but I do not think that they produce ice wines.

Good Luck and enjoy our wonderful city.

The quiet one
