The Valor will be in Belize from 9 am -6 pm. Is this ship time or island time?

I want to catch the water taxi to CC and am concerned if there is enough time.

Island time I think is 2 hours earlier then ship time. Can somebody help me here....Thanks.

I was there last month and they were 1 hour behind ship time. I think each ship's captain decides if they change ship time when crossing time zones. Our ship did, but since Belize doesn't follow daylight savings time, we were still 1 hour ahead of them. The next day we meet people in Cozumel who were on the Explorer and they were 1 hour ahead of us, meaning they didn't change their ship time when crossing time zones. I thought it weird that some Royal Caribbean ships did change time and others didn't.
