How does the spa on the Star compares to the one on the Gem ?

The Spa on the Star has a main "wet" room with a whirlpool, hot tub and lap pool with chairs and loungers - not the hot stone loungers like on the Gem/Jewel. There are two quiet rooms on either side of the main wet room for additional lounging. All three rooms have a great aft view.

The male/female changing rooms have steam and saunas with the mens area having a cool plunge pool. This is also where you have the lockers and showers.

We actually perfer the spa on the Star to the Jewel class spas. There is more room to relax as a couple. When we were on the Jewel (where the spa is like the Gem) we had to relax in the male/female areas alone more often as the co-ed area is much smaller and many time crowded...

With that said, the sauna on the Jewel/Gem is much larger and has some great views too...
