Oasis Deck 14 Aft -- Noise?

Hi all,

 

Just booked a cruise on the Oasis of the Seas! Our room is an interior room on the 14th deck at the aft, under the sports court. Anyone have insight about what type of noise level we can expect at this location? We still have a couple days to revise our reservation so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Deck 14 aft...are you in 14273, 275, 277 or 14673, 675, 677? These 6 interior aft rooms are actually directly under the teen areas not the sports deck. You might experience some noise, but it probably won't be much of a problem. Lots goes on each day and noise reduction has been well thought out.

Thanks for the response! We are at the very aft of the ship, under the sports court. Can't remember exact number now, but it's at the very end of the ship.

We were in 14636 right under the kiddie pool. We heard chairs being drug around and the pounding of feet. It was mostly dring the day and a few times in the early AM. It wasn't horrible but the second time we went on Oasis we chose deck 11 and it was blissfully quiet.

I checked and we are definitely further back than the kiddie pool so that shouldn't be an issue. Since we are at the very back of the ship I'm hoping the activity from the sports court from above won't be bad, but who knows :)

I would steer clear of anything directly under a public deck...and on Oasis/Allure that means deck 14.

We were in 14702 in Feb. We heard no noise until the last night. We woke early (5am) to get ready to go home and heard them hosing off the sport court. They probably did it every night but it wasn't that loud and we would have slept through it. I would book that cabin again. We thought it was a great location.
