xxoocruiser Posted August 9, 2012 #6 Share Posted August 9, 2012 Use a mobility scooter. Was there this past April on RCCL's Enchantment of the Seas and n docked at King's Wharf which was very accessible with the exception of at one point I ran into a dead end sidewalk with no curb cut out and had to reverse my route. Here's the map of the Dockyard Area : http://www.experiencebermuda.com/maps/pdf/DockyardMap.pdf The Bermuda Public Buses are not wheelchair accessible . Hamiltion the some of the shops have steps to enter Curb cuts were a little harder to find in Hamilton but it's still doable. The ferry to/from Hamilton is accessible with a ramp. However the day I used it, the crew forgot to transfer the ramp onto the ship when they changed equipment that morning. I was not able to just role on to ferry. The Crew offer to lift me while on my scooter onto and off of the ferry. I chose to get off the scooter and walk with the assistance of the crew . Than my scooter was lifted on board. I could ride the scooter around the ship but there was no wheelchair accessible washroom on the ferry. Bottom line the crew couldn't have been more helpful.
