Caribbean Princess E318 Obstructed View

For those considering an obstructed view cabin on the Caribbean Princess, we have posted a photo at http://community.webshots.com/album/345180745KmCwpz

This is the view from Cabin E318 Emerald 318 Category FF

The actual window location very closley matched the published deck plan.

Given the relatively low cost, we had no problem with the view. For us, it certainly was better than an inside room. I doubt I would pay much more (if anything) for an unobstructed view outside cabin. A balcony, of course, would have been much better.

I hope this helps anyone apprehensive about this type of cabin,

Thanks for the photo Chuckkath!

We will be 2 cabins down in E 322 soon. According to the published deck plan, 318 cabin seems to be totally obstructed by the lifeboat. That's a surprise to see that it is situated so you can see just over the boat. I agree for a bit over the inside cabin, this would be worth it. E 322 is one of 2 cabins between the lifeboats; you wouldn't have happened to see the view from one of these cabins? I'm thinking we will see cables or something similar.....hopefully that's all! I will post a photo of this cabin when i return.

  • 4 weeks later...

Just got back from Caribbean Princess and was in cabin E322.

It was partially obstructed by some cables as I thought but we were

happy with the cabin and where it was situated overall. I tried to

put a photo into this posting was not able to.

Will try to post a photo soon!
