Using lap top on Liberty of the Seas

Recommended Posts

After the last dry-dock WiFi should now be generally accessible.

However, it is not cheap. Figure $.65/minute. The bigger the package you buy they cheaper it is per minute but it still never gets THAT cheap. Also, if you're a C&A member your coupon book will have coupons for internet.

If you can batch up your required communications you might be able to get cheaper connections through an internet cafe whilst in port.

Let me add buy your package the first day, you usually get free bonus minutes. Also the Internet onboard the ship is super slooooooooow:eek: almost as fast as dial-up.

We had a laptop on the liberty in 2010. Hopefully service has improved. If you have to use your laptop try to use it during port days. Less congestion online. Only so many can be on the line at once & my friend was thrown offline a few times, we were on deck 10, maybe service was better elsewhere. I was told that people using the ship computers had better service. Best to get the package 65 cents minute gets costly & use coupons if you are c&a. I am going back on liberty in november with my tablet & hoping its ok
