Msneata Posted August 15, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2012 We have ordered liquor from Bon Voyage and a friend of my DH mentioned the difficulty of having to go back to your room for refills. I have read other posts on cc that suggest tervis tumblers or water bottles. My question is do men carry these around, can we take them to the bars (Espn sports bar, Alchemy), and are there any other suggestions. As a note, I did look for a flask for DH but could not find one without a metal top.
bignuttz Posted August 15, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2012 I used a 52oz Bubba Keg. Just made drinks in the room and filled it up and carried it everywhere.
Amy Giard Posted August 15, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 15, 2012 You can take your drinks in all the bars and dining areas. Just bring whatever feels best carrying around. :)
bar1068 Posted August 15, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 15, 2012 I'm curious about the reference to a flask with a metal top? My last 2 cruises I bought bottles of Jack Daniels from BV and brought my all metal flask my wife gave me as a Christmas gift a few years ago. Filled it on our cabin and carried it all over the ship..even in several of the bars. Made a few Jack and Cokes with cokes bought in those bars.....of course the contents of the flask don't last that long when sharing...

Crusing from Colorado Posted August 15, 2012 #6 Share Posted August 15, 2012 I think I was thinking about getting the flask through security. Bring it through security Empty ;) I'd put it in my checked luggage though. Should have no problem then.

Canadian_J Posted August 15, 2012 #9 Share Posted August 15, 2012 We all are partial to the Starbucks plastic re-usable cups you can buy, the clear ones made for cold drinks. They're double walled which means they stay cooler and you can customize the inside. The venti means you get plenty of time in between refills. Be aware that some locations only sell these in the summer!

luv2cruise777l Posted August 15, 2012 #11 Share Posted August 15, 2012 We bought the tumblers that they sell for the soda card. They were around 7.00 or 8.00 dollars if I remember right. They worked out great!:)
Mrs.C05 Posted August 15, 2012 #12 Share Posted August 15, 2012 We bring big 44oz handled insulated cups for water and alcoholic beverages to carry around the ship. No one has ever said anything. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
