cave tubing

We are going to be in Belize the week of July 10 & are wanting to go on the cave tubing excursion. Can anyone tell me how much it is through the cruise ship & how much it is if we book it elsewhere?

Carnival tour is about $98 per person, the private tours that have been talked about here on the boards range from $45 to $60 or so.

I can tell you that a couple years back we did the cave tubing tour through Carnival and it was great. It was one of the top excursions we have ever taken. Just so you know it did involve quite a bit of hiking through the rain forest but there were people of all ages on the tour and eveyone made it. Just a little excercise.
