sand74 Posted August 18, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2012 Just back from the trip from he** on the Carnival Glory.... Taking this cruise was the biggest mistake of our lives..... The ship is FILTHY...FILTHY.....FILTHY....FILTHY... If you check out the reviews, I believe it got a 78% rating.... that is an overly generous number. The food was gross, the cabins smelled....and we found out why after 1/2 of the family contracted the noro virus....overall, the staff is indifferent or doesn't know anything..... I will be posting much more within the next several days....we are in the process of preparing a very long, detailed letter to Carnival, the CDC......et al. If you cherish your health....don't go! Big waste of time and money!

bettyboop16 Posted August 18, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 18, 2012 Insurance won't cover the cruise just because you don't want to go. My trip is paid for & I will be on the ship. All cruises varies from week to week some good/some not so good. Betty,

Betty, FYI ....some cruise ships have a cancellation policy....'if you cancel for any reason'....e.g. Holland America....we have had to use it in the past...so......Good luck to you too! I have had an experience where I cancelled and got my money back...with a top notch cruise line. Good luck to you too!
