We are planning one night precruise in FLL, I want to stay on the ocean due to it the first time our children will have seen it, they are 14 and 20 years old.............any advice?

As eng says, you'll want to post this on the Florida specific board...or wait tilll the moderator moves your post there.

When will you be there? Do you have a budget? Know that beach hotels are more costly during peak season. Bahia Mar is a great spot that is considered moderate in cost. But that cost ranges depending on season. The location is across the street from a great stretch of beach with a bridge over the road. Water taxi stop within a block or so. Bus and trolley runs right by the hotel. Close to the port. Check it out online.

 

You might want to look at tripadvisor to find the others on the ocean a bit further north. You'll find all kinds of styles, pricing etc. Just depends on your budget.
