Question about timing in travelling from Maho back to Philipsburg.....

I looked and couldn't find this specifically ...But I have read that traffic getting back to port from Maho can be horrendous!!! ....

 

We plan on leaving at 2pm to head back ( we have a rental car too). Ship leaves at 4:30pm so is 2 and half hours enough time??? I'm just guessing here but 2pm traffic shouldn't be too bad,right? Am I safe in thinking that traffic would be a lot busier if you were driving back say after 4...:confused::confused::confused:

 

I'm so nervous about not making it back in time:(

If the ship leaves at 4:30 you'll need to be back aboard at 4:00.

 

2:00 should be fine.
