DebJ14 Posted August 21, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 21, 2012 We got the benefits of the spa pass by booking a spa balcony cabin. The difference in cost between the spa balcony 8S and the least expensive regular balcony we would have been content with was a whole $15.00 bucks on the past guest rate. So, $30.00 for the cabin vs $249.00 for the couples pass. You need to look at the 8S or 8P pricing when booking if you might want the spa access. We booked the spa cabin mainly because there is no smoking on the balconies up there, so the spa access is just gravy. Our Triumph cruise in May was ruined by a cigar smoker on the balcony next door. Paid for a suite and the large balcony was unusable the whole time due to the cigar smoke.

Sargent_Schultz Posted August 21, 2012 #6 Share Posted August 21, 2012 Has anyone used spa services? Also, any spa specials on first day or while in port? Thanks. The first day is an open house when they give tours and try to sign passengers up. There are port specials and sometimes sea day specials than can vary. Your cabin steward will put fliers in the stateroom during the cruise listing any specials.
ChristieDawn Posted August 21, 2012 #7 Share Posted August 21, 2012 Totally agree....we're in our 3rd spa cabin for the 10/21 Magic sailing...CAN'T WAIT!!!! We are booked for a Spa Inside Cabin on the Magic in April and can't wait!!! I have never used a spa on a cruise before but I'm sure we will use it everyday! Do you know if when staying in a spa cabin do you get any type of discount on spa services?
reginaphalange Posted August 21, 2012 #8 Share Posted August 21, 2012 Our November sailing on the Magic will be our first cruise and we splurged for the spa balcony! I'm soooooo excited! Are the spa ammenities available 24/7 from the time you board the ship? I'm thinking that might be the first stop we make, after dropping our luggage off. :D
