beachbummers Posted August 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2012 I know Quebec City is mostly about walking around, but was thinking of taking a bus out to Montmorency Falls (spelling). I was on the RTC website and couldn't make heads or tails out of the numbers, bus routes and the links are all in french. Any help would be appreciated. cyberjoys Posted August 23, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2012 Here is the info I recently found: If you want to take the city bus, you can take bus 53 to the falls. It leaves from Place Jacques-Cartier (on the corner of de la Couronne and du Roi) and goes to the falls. Place Jacques-Cartier is about 2km (1.2 miles). The bus leaves about once every hour or two hours and the ride takes about 1 hour. Here is the link to find out the exact times: rtcquebec.ca/_cms/…horaire_recherche.aspx I couldn't find anything in English but even if you don't understand French you should be able to figure it out. All you have to do is choose '53' for 'Numéro de parcours' and then choose the date for 'Horaire'. You're interested in the times for Place Jacques-Cartier (Pl. J.-Cartier - du Roi) and Pont de Boischatel (the stop near the falls, it's also the terminus). One last thing, 'vers' means 'towards'. ~Joyce
