hiker1944 Posted August 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2012 A friend and I are booked on the October 2013 Panama Canal cruise (we've been talking about this for over 8 years!). So, quite excited to be going on the "new" Millennium (have previously sailed on Constellation and Infinity so have high expectations). We booked a category 2A balcony aft (#7176) because it has a large balcony. I've seen one or two other reviews (or, I should say, comments) about these rear cabins but am curious about others' reactions. So, if you've been in 7173-7180 I'd love to get your reactions to views (obstructed or not from above or below), noise from elevators, which appear quite nearby, and any other comments you have about the post-Solsticization of Millie. Even though it's a year away, I'm very much looking forward to being on Millie and cruising once again! Thanks, Carl
Travel Writing Mary Posted August 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2012 Cruised on Millie pre-Solstisizing and loved it. We actually stayed in an inside cabin and found it very quiet and comfortable.
Grado Posted October 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2013 Enjoy your cruise Carl. I'm sorry no one answered your question as I was looking for that answer too. Did you ever learn about 7173-7180?
