I talked to hubby he agreed to do a 7 nighter now just to figure out which one. I was thinking Oasis but that might be a bit much on a first cruise.

Try doing a short weekend cruise first.

 

Also, find out what his specific fear is. Is he afraid of the water/can't swim? If so, find a local Red Cross, YMCA or other adult swim class. He can be comfortable in the water in just a few lessons.

 

Is he afraid of motion sickness? If so, get a prescription for a patch.

Sounds like a good compromise with a 7 nighter.

 

Maybe look at voyager or freedom class ships, and see which one(s) may work with your wedding plans, and go from there.
