Lido Balcony on Liberty

I am booked for 9/8 on the Liberty in a Lido balcony a few doors down from the Blue Iguana tequila bar. The cabin is halfway between the atrium elevator bank and the entrance to Lido. If anyone has stayed in this area, the deckplans show a corridor, but do people spill out from the elevator bank and walk by the cabin? Not too concerned about noise, but I like to decorate my room door with a Jimmy Buffett Parrothead Party sign and most likely a "too happy" from Lido cruiser may pull it down for a souvenir if it is a highly trafficked area. Any thoughts?

Hard to explain but do you know where .you walk through the double glass doors.If you walk right through those and look left or right there is another door.You walk through that door and we are the first cabin .Zero foot traffic

yes, you will have a separate hall way for your cabin="wanderers" won't be passing by....

That's what it was like for us after our first balcony room, might as well keep that trend going... I just will avoid the suites so I don't have to get a second job to afford my cruise habit, LOL!

do you book early saver? With our jobs we cant really book early saver but if you can ,do yourself a favor and google" cruise and fish ".Awesome site for $1 they moniter your cruise 24 hours a day and send emails when the price changes so you can submit the form and get OBC.I did it just for fun and I would have saved $140 pp if I could have booked sooner

I did book ES, but my price went up, Boooo! At least I got a good deal. I will make a note of that site for next time!

The Liberty is a hot ship because of all the upgrades.We got it cheap because we booked casino rate we paid $734 pp which is cheap for an 8E.For the last few days ive been getting emails a few times a day and its going from $909 down to $799 then back up again

We booked over a year ago and got a rate of $659, so I guess I did get a great deal for an 8E!

We usually only book this itinerary and Conquest class ships and have never gotten that cheap.Sucks for us is my wife and I are union and vacations are based by seniority and can only be submitted a few months in advance,so we have to usually wing it

Booked our first Lido balcony for our next Liberty cruise. I'm always so glad to hear that the Lido rocks!

I have my first Lido balcony (actually, first balcony, period) on the Liberty in October, so I'm super glad to hear about the separate hallway! :)

That is so true! We upgraded our ocean view on the Magic last March to a Lido Balcony and we are hooked! We have a trip planned on the Liberty next year and I booked a balcony in the exact same location. We loved the Lido deck. And our room was the first one right off the elevators. Never had any problems with noise or people.
