One way Rental car from IAH

Does any rental car agency offer a one way rental from IAH to Galveston? We are headed down the day before and will need two cars and We were wondering do we have to do a round trip rental or a Limo transfer? Thank you for your help!

I've sailed twice from Galveston with the third coming up in December. Airport taxes and franchise fees, in addition to one-way drop off charges have made one-way rentals exceptionally expensive. We arrive the day before as well making the cruiseline transfers complicated and according to some reports, unavailable. (never tested this, but reports on these boards have indicated that buses contracted by cruiselines are for passengers flying in the day of the cruise only. Don'tknow one way or the other.)

 

Anyway, with cruise parking being so inexpensive on the island, we rent a car for the duration of the cruise even though it is parked most of the time. Have found the cost comparable to private transfers and have the benefit of being able to do what we want before the cruise.
