Taylor Head Provincial Park

We would like to rent a car in Halifax and do a day hike. We are looking at Taylor Head Provincial Park. Has anyone done this? (Can it be done in the time we have in port 8:30 - 4:30)

 

We really want to do a coastal hike. If anyone has other suggestions for something closer to Halifax - please suggest!!

That is quite a long trip to get there here are a couple of alternatives within 1/2 hr of downtown. The first you also have the benefit of the wonderful Bike and Bean for great coffee's,drinks, panini's and dynamite baked goods before or after or take for pit stop!!!
