Leaving tomorrow and I have a question about the luggage tags you print and put on your bag. Is it ok to fold them then tape them completely like laminating them before putting them on my luggage. I am using packing tape so it is clear. Thanks

You can do that. I use packaging tape also.

Yes, that is fine if you wish to do that. Some PAX attach with zip-ties.

Absolutely, that's what I do, then punch a hole in them & attach with thick elastics. Happy cruising.

Yes, we do that and then use a hole punch and secure to backs with electrical tywraps. Works great every time.

We ask the porters for real cardboard ones with wire ties and put those on our bag.

I was given a couple of these by a friend that bought the package of 5. They are much easier to use than messing around with laminating or taping. Sturdy enought that I expect them to last a few years if some ham handed baggage handler does not rip the off. ;)

For those of you that use the zipties to put your luggage tags on. Do you put them in your carry-on bags when you are flying to your port or in the checked bags???

I have already laminated our luggage tags which is what I usually do but I don't want to bring a stapler with me this time. Zipties seem much more convenient :)

I use packing tape to cover the Tag, use a hole punch and then attach them with a Tie wrap right after we land at the Airport [ keep them in my purse]

I use the plastic tie wraps with the little teeth - they "lock" in place and can't come apart...

I used twist ties once and one of them came off and it took me a while to retrieve my luggage from the Pursers desk:(

That's exactly what I do, just as you described! Never had a problem! Have fun!

We use a stapler and have never lost a tag yet. As a matter of fact, we always have to take off the old ones when we are going to the next ship. 2 staples at the bottom and it is good to go. Super easy and quick.
