LauraFL Posted September 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2012 My husband and I want to visit Stingray City as part of our late September Carnival cruise. So many of the companies sound great, and we are having a hard time choosing. Which companies do not try to get you to buy additional photos? We are looking for a company that will take pics with our cameras instead of trying to get us to buy their photos. Thanks!
milhouse0506 Posted September 28, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2012 We used Nativeway for the Rays, Reef and Rum Point tour. I don't believe I saw either of the tour guides taking pictures to sell and we were never asked to buy any pictures. I do know that they were more than happy to take pictures using our cameras! katcas Posted September 28, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2012 We went with Stingray Sailing. Great company that only takes a total of 29 people so it is not at all crowded. We had less than that the week of Thanksgiving. Seeing some of the other tours, we were glad we went with Stingray Sailing. They do take pictures but once on the boat, they just say if anyone wants to buy any pictures taken, to come over and look. One or two people did, but no one else did and never felt pressured. We brought our own water camera. They give you food to feed the stingrays and get in the water with you to show you how to feed and hold them. Amazing experience I would recommend to anyone.
