canderson Posted May 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2005 Why does Expedia have Celebrity rated 4+ stars and Travelocity has them 3+ stars - just different opinions?I have never seen the cruise lines themselves rated on either site, so perhaps that's not what you meant. But the ratings for the ships varies with the ship's class. For example, Travelocity has all 4 M-Class ships rates with 4/5 stars, the C-Class with 3.5/5 stars, and Zenith rates with 4/5 stars. Where would one find ship's "star" ratings on Expedia? Give us an assist here... links?
tabasco Posted May 19, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted May 19, 2005 You are right - I was looking at the Galaxy ship - the same ship has a 4 + star rating on Expedia and a 3 + rating on travelocity.

tabasco Posted May 19, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted May 19, 2005 If you go in to book a cruise and look at the various options, there are stars next to each cruise ship name - I happen to be looking at ships out of Galveston - most of them: Princess, RCCL some Carnival ships are 4 stars but the Galaxy is 4+ stars which is great, but on Travelocity its 3 + stars - that's a big difference.
