Shops in Tourist Village

Does anyone have a list or brochure of the shops in the tourist village where the ships tender?

 

For those of you who have been there, is there a mad rush at any certain time? What is the best time to go in if you want to just do the Tourist Village?

I'g get up in no hurry, enjoy a leisurely breakfast & be on a tender to the TV by 11 AM.

But, if there are more than two ships in port that day it will be crowded in the TV from about 10 am on.

I mean 11 AM ships time which will be either 9 or 10 AM local time depending if you are there during DST or not.

Don't the cruise ships have you either set your clocks forward or back to correspond with the time in the port you are in?

Not the Carnival ships & you remain on ship's time but have to think Belize time.

On other lines, some do & some don't.

Just about everything you can purchase in the Tourism Village will cost more than things in town. We wandered all over town, met wonderful locals and purchased local condiments like Marie Sharps, and local booze like Don Omario, Barrel 1 and Cashew Wine for cheaper than the T.Village prices.

Just lovin that chocolate factory at the tourist village!!! :) We head in to the village after the tour crowds have departed the ship. After they clear the ship and the village its pretty quiet at the village. Had the place to ourselves every visit.

Not much of a map but hope this helps. Its a petty easy place to get around and there are placards easily identifying the shops and where you are. http://www.cave-tubing.com/images/tourism-village-map.gif
