Stingray Encounter & Turtle swim

How did you like it? My wife and I (mid-30's) are considering the same excursion with Carnival in February. I've been to Stingray City and the old Turtle Farm before, but she's never been to either. Did you have any time left over to hit 7 Mile Beach or did the excursion take up the whole day?

Unfortunately, hurricane Sandy canceled all water based activities:(:(. So, we were only able to go to the Turtle Farm. The snorkeling is in a man made lagoon...nothing special, 2 baby turtles, that's it! We did go into town to shop afterwards

Tell us more about the turtle swim part. We are considering that because some in my group really want the Turtle Farm after Stingray City.
