WDWHeather Posted September 24, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2012 We had planned to just park at the port for $16/day, but then tonight I saw this one at Fulton Place Parking and if we go on the roof, it's only $8/day. For half the price, and only a block away, it sounds like it might be worth it. Anyone have experience with them? http://www.airportparkinginc.com/
scottamemnon Posted September 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2012 I found this exact thing and was wondering the same. Seems like a great deal.
zzupschuck Posted September 27, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 27, 2012 I always park at Fulton Street Parking when cruising out of N.O. I use their website to make a reservation...but they don't have a rate for roof top parking, and their regular rate is $12 per day with no fees or tax...$84 for 7 days, which is less than the total rate for covered parking on the Airport Parking website...$91.24 for 7 days. You do save about $16 if you book rooftop parking, but I don't know how many spaces are available on the roof, but if it was full, I'm sure you can pay the regular cruise parking rate. And yes, I highly recommend them
ChitownGus Posted September 29, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2012 Question on the area... we were going to go in a few days early and would like to park here as well... $8 a day is a good price. Any idea on the safety of the area? Can I park here at night and walk a few or three blocks to the hotel?
zzupschuck Posted October 1, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 1, 2012 Yes, you can park and walk to your hotel with no problem. The parking garage is in a public area, lots of people walking around on the streets and well lighted at night.
