Clarea Posted September 25, 2012 #27 Share Posted September 25, 2012 Does the Freedom have a champagne bar like on Mariner? Yes, and also a Vintages.
tartan cruiser Posted September 25, 2012 #28 Share Posted September 25, 2012 CrusinPeg, looking forward to your review as we'll be onboard FOS in January. You mentioned the casino was good to you. If you played blackjack do remember what the minimum bet was? Princess is usually $5 but I think I remember $10 last year on LOS. Just curious. Thanks
bliss_fully_happy Posted September 25, 2012 #29 Share Posted September 25, 2012 Just got back from freedom too. I know they had $6 tables. I played a single deck blackjack that was $5.

tartan cruiser Posted September 25, 2012 #31 Share Posted September 25, 2012 Thanks everyone for the information. I like blackjack but $10 a hand is too much to play for 7 nights! $3 and $6 minimums means I can probably play every night even if some nights are not very lucky. Something to look forward to. time11130 Posted September 25, 2012 #32 Share Posted September 25, 2012 We are just back from the Freedom last week .... I have to say it was one of our favorite cruises too !!! wonderful ship great crew ! Yes they do have the new Coke machines they are located by the big screen on pool deck. Really? We are just off on Sept 16th and the "NEW" machines were not on there and the crew didn't expect them anytime soon. A co-worker of mine is going in Oct. and she really wants the 125 choices from the new machine and wondered if she would be lucky enought to have them on her sailing. Ren1216 Posted September 26, 2012 #43 Share Posted September 26, 2012 I'm not certain, as I have not yet used the new machines... but I think it's the same as the self-serve system they already had in place. When you purchase the soda package, they give you a thermal cup that contains a micro chip. If you make your purchase online, the cup will be waiting in your cabin. To use any of the self-serve machines, you need this cup. Otherwise, you can get a soda in a glass from any bar or dining venue by presenting your Sea Pass, which will have a Coke logo on it.
