sunnidaze7 Posted September 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2012 We will be sailing on the Celebrity Summit Southern Caribbean in Jan 2013, it will be our first cruise. Just a question about dance classes. Will they be available on the cruise ship and if so what time of day do they offer such classes? Because the cruise is so port intensive I assume they offer activities during the evenings. Is this so? Thanks for the information.
kitty9 Posted September 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2012 I've not seen any dance classes at night. They've all been held on sea days in the afternoon. At night, they use those areas for everyone, and can't possibly do dance classes at that time.
jconeil Posted September 25, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2012 Usually only sea days and in the daytime. They are often taught by a couple of dancers from the show, so it is not a high quality lesson, as they seldom know any steps besides the few they teach. But it is worth your time if you are just starting or want a brush up. We have been on cruises where there are a dedicated ballroom professional couple, and those lessons can be great. Those are not Carib cruises tho.
