Post-Cruise NOLA City Tour

Anyone taken the post-cruise NOLA city tour with the ship? Looks like a good way to see some of the sights and still get a ride to the airport especially if you have a few hours to kill. Our flight is not until 4:15 so we should have plenty of time. What do you think?

What cruiseline are you sailing on? I'll be on Royal on the Navigator in March and was thinking about their city tour. It looks interesting. I'm curious to see some reviews.

We're on the NCL Star Jan 13th. I figure for around 49 dollars per person it's a good way to spend a few hours before our flight home. Since a cab costs 35 plus tip, its a really good deal to spend a little more and enjoy the day.

We get off the Star on November 4th , I will let you know about the tour , we lived near New Orleans so it is basically a time killer and ride to airport for us .

AA kindly cancelled out 12.15 pm flight so now we have to wait until 4.15 pm , not to happy about that .

I don't have a review of the tour itself, but we are also taking the Navigator in March and our flight does not leave until 5:40 p.m. I called Royal and they said the tour starts at 9;15 and gets you to the airport around noon. That's still a lot of time to hang around the airport. We are probably going to go off and do something on our own and take a cab to the airport around 3:00.
